How long does it take to get dentures?
It will take a couple of visits to make dentures, usually occurring between 3 to 6 weeks depending on each individual patient and the type of denture we’re making.
How much do dentures cost?
Dentures typically cost between $1400-$2500 per arch depending on what denture is required and what level of insurance cover you have. The best way to get an exact figure is to come in for a consultation and treatment plan.
I have broken my dentures, what do I do?
Call us right away. Fairfield Dentures and Repairs offer same day repair services where possible.
How do I clean my dentures?
Warm, soapy water and a soft toothbrush is all you need. Toothpaste is for your natural teeth, we don’t recommend it for your dentures.
My dentures hurt me, what do I do?
Dentures should not be painful, so if they’re causing you pain, please call in for an appointment so we can appropriately adjust them for you.
How should I store my dentures?
You should keep your dentures in a denture box when you’re not wearing them. This will keep them out of harms way.
Will dentures affect what I can eat?
Denture wearing is a skill, it may take you some time to get used to them, but with a little patience and persistence, you’ll find you’re eating normally again in no time.
Is it OK to sleep with my dentures?
It is a good idea to leave your dentures out at night to give your gums a chance to rest. But its okay to sleep with your dentures in if that’s what you prefer.
When should I get new dentures?
We advise a new set of dentures every 5 years to keep up with the changes in the mouth and in case of any wear and tear. Regular check ups are a good idea to make sure everything is in order.
